Just in case somebody assumes Pacific Wings is cheaper for Interisland flights. We checked PacificWings.com for RT Kamuela, Big Island - Kahului, Maui for 9/9/09. Well, we didn't trust our eyes when the RT came up with close to $500. Hey RT Hawaii -Mainland are cheaper than that these days, and I did not want to charter the whole plane!
Anyways, I thought I give them a chance and tell us that their website had a problem with the prices quoted there. Here is what PacificWings quoted us by phone for RT for 1 person between Maui and the Big Island: $276!!!
Maybe, they serve a gourmet meal by a 5-star chef or give us a sightseeing trip over the islands but the lady did not mention anything like that. So, Hawaiian Airline it is!
